A VIDA SECRETA DE CASSIANE (The secret life of Cassiane) is an interactive audiovisual experiment, presented live via Telegram messaging app. It tells the story of a woman caught in a web of difficult choices.
MOERMEMÓRIA
MOERMEMÓRIA (Millmemory) is a web series of 6 episodes, created and produced by Teatro Número Três in social isolation. Inspired by the dramatic fragment Isle of the dead, by August Strindberg, the series presents six characters in isolation, in the endless process of revisiting their own past.
A INTRUSA (INTRUDER)
At the beginning of social isolation in 2020, Teatro Número Três investigated the form of theatre as film by staging INTRUDER, a 1890 symbolist play by Belgian playwright Maurice Maeterlinck.
VIAGEM A NOVA YORK
Created from autobiographical documents – audio files, e-mails, pictures, maps, interviews – VIAGEM A NOVA YORK (Voyage to New York) tells the story of a man who traveled abroad and disappeared. Created and produced by Teatro Número Três, presented at Espaço Cultural Sérgio Porto, Rio de Janeiro.
PEQUENAS BIOGRAFIAS
PEQUENAS BIOGRAFIAS (Little biographies) is an autobiographical parody, that presents the tale of a certain group of performers who investigate the lives of family members, celebrities and complete strangers. Created and produced by Teatro Número Três, presented at Teatro Maria Clara Machado and at Sede das cias, Rio de Janeiro.
SEM FALSIDADES
SEM FALSIDADES (Without makeup) is a documentary play, in which five young actresses speak from a text composed of real testimonies given by other young actresses. Created and produced by Teatro Número Três, presented under the curatorship of project ENTRE at Espaço Cultural Sérgio Porto, Rio de Janeiro.
The play was analysed in Julie Ann Ward’s dissertation Self, Esteemed: Contemporary Auto/biographical Theatre in Latin America, at UC Berkeley, 2013.
